Easy Peasy Blueberry Protein Shake



What's the saying? An Apple a day keeps the doctor away. I believe the same is true in regards to Blueberries. The berry may be tiny, but it packs a serious punch when it comes to nutrition. Rich in antioxidants and low in calories- it's a win win. 
Blueberries are considered a super food and  here is a list of seven health benefits:

  5. Alleviate Inflammation
  6. Support Digestion
  7. Promote Heart Health

There are some mornings where I want something on the lighter side. One of my go-tos is this Blueberry Protein Smoothie.

1 scoop of Collagen Protein Powder ( Bulletproof- see my last post) ß You can be flexible here Chocolate or Vanilla will work.
10 oz unsweetened coconut milk (you can use Almond if you like)
½ cup blueberries (fresh or frozen- when in season use fresh)
1 cup of ice (optional)

Toss all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick add more milk if it’s too thin just add more ice.

No Fuss No Muss- Easy Peasy and out the door.
